Luke Beardon has been working as a practitioner in the field of autism for around fifteen years. Despite having the title of 'senior lecturer in autism' and working for the Autism Centre at Sheffield Hallam University he insists that he’s not an academic, but simply someone who has always enjoyed working with people with autism. He works closely with people with autism around the country as well as providing input on academic courses from undergraduate through to Master’s and Doctoral study. His special interests are people with autism and his family - pretty much to exclusion of everything else.
