Who Are the Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society?

SAAS was founded by Kevin Healey in May 2007 following an approach from a group of individuals who felt isolated due to the lack of services for adults on the Autistic spectrum in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

 

Past & Present Supports

The Lottery, Newcastle Borough Council, Give it Sum, Awards for All, SCF, Richmond care group, Comic sport relief, Coalfields, and many more have funded SAAS, You can find more details about SAAS and our recent activities on our conference page.

Our mission statement

We aim to provide support to people with Autism and Aspergers , and to promote a better understanding of the ASD spectrum.

We currently offer:

• Work-experience training for ASD Adults
• Autism awareness training
• Conferences
• Charity events
• Membership 
• Volunteering opportunities
